Connecting the universe of biomedical data to build predictive models of drugs and disease
The universe of biomedical data offers constellations of molecular profiling data that enable us to move away from single gene, disease, or drug views to looking at entire systems of genes, diseases, drugs, and other modalities to create and explore systematic, multiscale maps of biology and medicine. This talk will cover efforts to apply translational bioinformatics approaches to build disease maps, identify novel uses for approved drugs, and construct causal network models of human disease.
